Terms of consultation

Terms governing Codelabgrid employment, relocation and onboarding consultations in Germany.

Scope and acceptance

These terms apply when you use this website or book a consultation with Codelabgrid. By confirming a booking, you accept the quoted scope, these terms and the cancellation policy. You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information relevant to the engagement.

Nature of guidance

We provide educational and practical guidance concerning German employment, relocation administration and workplace onboarding. We do not provide legal representation, immigration casework, tax advice, certified translation, housing brokerage or guarantees about government or employer decisions. You remain responsible for applications, deadlines and decisions. Where regulated expertise is needed, consult an appropriately licensed professional.

Booking, fees and client responsibilities

Services, preparation, price and delivery mode are set out on the relevant consultation page or individual estimate. Payment is due before the appointment unless agreed otherwise. You must provide requested, appropriately redacted materials on time and ensure a private, reliable connection for video calls. Delayed material may reduce what can be covered without extending the session.

Intellectual property

The website, consultation worksheets and original written notes belong to Codelabgrid. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use materials for your own relocation and employment planning. You may not resell, publish or use them to advise others commercially. Your documents remain yours.

Availability and liability

We take reasonable care to use current sources, but administrative practice, appointment availability and individual circumstances change. To the extent permitted by German law, liability for ordinary negligence is limited to foreseeable loss typical of the contract and applies only to breach of essential contractual duties. Nothing excludes liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending an engagement

Either party may end work for material breach. We may decline or stop an engagement that falls outside competence, involves abusive conduct or creates a conflict. Fees for work properly completed remain payable; refund treatment follows the cancellation and refund policy.

Governing law and contact

German law governs these terms. Mandatory consumer protections and statutory venues remain unaffected. Where legally permissible, Berlin is the place of jurisdiction. Questions may be sent to info@codelabgrid.digital.
